POMELO is so called great grapefruit, which also is a citrus, very similar to grapefruit by the look, but much bigger. The color, shape, size and taste depend on the type of the fruit. Some fruits can be of a flat ball shape and slightly acid, others have yellowish green peel and sweet white pulp, yet others have yellow peel and acid-sweet flavor.
Pomelos are mainly grown in China, Thailand, Taiwan, the southernmost part of Japan, South India, and Tahiti.
