Tangerines are hesperidia originating from China or even Japan. There are several species and subspecies of tangerines, of which the most common are true tangerines and clementines.
Clementines are fruits of a hybrid tangerine and orange lemon tree. Tangerines mainly grow in Spain, Brazil, Turkey, Italy, Egypt, Morocco, and Argentina.
